After our weekly meeting, we had a prayer walk and these women are amazing!  Here we are pictured on the beach (myself, Chloe, Amy, Megan, Rochelle, and Hillary)

I like to have fun :)  I can because it was my birthday!

Katelyn and Janae took me out to dinner at Periwinkles.  It's a seafood place and it was great! :)  I love them so much.

So here's an update of my experience on project.  I have so much more to talk about, especially with what I've been learning.

So, I'd say the most stretching part of this summer, for me, is to go out and share my faith with people on the board walk.  To go up to somebody, it takes a step of faith, and it's not out of your own courage to go and do so, but it's because of the Holy Spirit.  This summer, we've really been focusing on the Holy Spirit and how to walk in the Spirit daily.  Cru has this awesome analogy called, "Spiritual Breathing".  It contains an exhale and an inhale, just like the way we breathe to live.  Here's how the booklet "Satisfied?" explains it:

Exhale: Confess your sin the moemnt you become aware of it -- agree with God convcerning it and thank Him for His forgiveness, according to 1 John 1:9 and Hebrews 10:1-5.  Confession requires repentance -- change in attitude and action.

Inhale: Surrender control of your life to Christ, and rely upon the Holy Spirit to fill you with His presence and power by faith, according to His command (Ephesians 5:18) and promise (1 John 5:14, 15)

I'll be back on later to talk more about what this all means and just how amazing the HOLY SPIRIT is!
